Structure of the polyaniline-carbon nanotube interface

The analysis of the structure and chemical state polyaniline/multi-walled carbon nanotube interface layer was carried out using both methods Near Edge X-Ray Absorption Fine Structure Photoelectron Spectroscopy. An photoelectron spectra showed an increase in content covalently bound chlorine, which may be due to functionalization nanotubes during polymer synthesis. spectrum shows two states chloride anion, are assigned polaron (Cl * ) bipolaron - forms polyaniline. Cl increases layer, indicates its electrical conductivity. Keywords: polyaniline, multi-walled nanotubes, composites, X-ray spectroscopy.
